My semester plan outlines my personal goals as a peer mentor. My semester plan establishes broad goals for personal growth rather than prescriptive plans for my role as a peer mentor. I believe this approach truly benefited me as a learner. Identifying these areas of growth early in the semester was essential for my development as I was able to acknowledge them with my host instructors and welcome them as pillars of support for targeting those areas of growth. Furthermore, abstaining from a rigid plan of action for my duties as a peer mentor gave me the freedom I needed to take risks and ask for guidance.
